THE WINEMAKER

Louis Vallet from Charodon is a young Burgundian winemaker from a multi-generational family in Gevrey-Chambertin who founded Charodon in 2010 to pursue his own vision of terroir-driven wines. He combines traditional Burgundy techniques with experience gained from working internationally, including in Chile, while emphasizing organic farming and minimal-intervention winemaking. His wines are known for their purity, freshness, and transparent expression of vineyard character, balancing approachability with the ability to age gracefully.
